Job summary

• Proven experience in Privacy and Data Protection.
• Previous DPO experience.
• Degree level educated.
• Knowledge of information systems desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the UK Data Protection team and ensure UK data protection obligations are mapped to effective activities, processes and controls.
• Embed the global DP framework across the UK, with horizon scanning and governance reporting.
• Manage UK DP team performance against SLAs and regulatory requirements (DPIAs, ROPAs, notices, training, audits).
• Escalate issues and engage with internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and cross‑border data protection alignment.
• Oversee privacy incident reporting, including DSARs, data breaches, and interactions with ICO when required.
