Job summary

Beazley Group seeks a UK Data Protection Officer to lead the UK Data Protection team and partner with regional DPOs to manage privacy risk across the UK footprint. You will embed a global DP framework, oversee DPIAs, ROPAs, training, and reporting to committees, and advise on DP matters, ensuring compliance with UK data protection laws and cross‑border data transfer considerations.

Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management and the ability to work with external advisors are essential

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Privacy and Data Protection.
• Certified/DPO experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UK data protection laws.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the UK Data Protection team and manage privacy risk.
• Contribute to global DP framework and cross-border data transfers.
• Oversee DPIAs, ROPAs, training and reporting to committees.
• Provide DP advice and ensure contracts meet privacy requirements.
• Engage with internal stakeholders and external advisors as needed.
