Ayvens UK is seeking a senior data leader to head the Data Office and deliver a modern, trusted data capability. You’ll define the UK data strategy, drive governance, and lead the migration to Azure, Databricks and Power BI, working with senior stakeholders to unlock business value.

You will own budgets, governance, and supplier relationships during a major data transformation, with a focus on regulatory compliance and data-driven decision making.

Qualificações

• Significant senior leadership experience across data, analytics, business intelligence, governance and data engineering.
• Experience developing enterprise-wide data strategies within regulated organisations.
• Experience leading large-scale cloud transformation programmes and legacy-to-cloud migrations.
• Strong knowledge of Azure, Databricks, Power BI and modern data architecture principles including lakehouse and warehouse platforms.
• Experience with legacy technologies: Oracle, SQL Server, SAS, SSIS and SAP BW.
• Understanding of data governance, security, compliance, metadata management and regulatory reporting.
• Experience influencing Board-level and Executive stakeholders and translating technical decisions into business outcomes.
• Leadership across multi-disciplinary teams, including offshore, supplier and third-party partners.

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute Ayvens UK’s data strategy, roadmap and operating model aligned to priorities and Group standards.
• Provide expert guidance to Board, ELT and senior stakeholders on data opportunities, risks and investments.
• Lead modernisation of data landscape from legacy tech to Azure, Databricks and Power BI.
• Oversee migration to a single-tenancy operating model with governance and adoption.
• Sponsor enterprise data governance including quality, lineage, privacy and regulatory compliance.
• Develop trusted data products and self-service BI capabilities across the organisation.
• Drive adoption of Power BI and reusable data assets to reduce manual reporting.
• Shape Ayvens UK’s approach to AI governance and responsible use of data.
