Ayvens UK is seeking a Head of Data & Insight to lead the Data Office and define the data strategy aligned to group standards. You will champion governance, data quality, and regulatory compliance while steering the transformation to Azure, Databricks and a modern data platform.

Collaborating with the Executive Leadership Team, you’ll translate data opportunities into business value, oversee budgets and supplier relationships, and build a high‑performing team across UK and offshore resources.

Qualificações

• Significant senior leadership experience across data, analytics, business intelligence, governance and data engineering.
• Experience developing and delivering enterprise-wide data strategies within complex, regulated organisations.
• Experience leading large-scale cloud transformation programmes and legacy-to-cloud migrations.

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute Ayvens UK's data strategy, roadmap and operating model aligned to business priorities and Group standards.
• Provide expert guidance to the Board, Executive Leadership Team and senior stakeholders on data opportunities, risks and investment decisions.
• Lead the modernisation of our data landscape from legacy technologies to Azure, Databricks and Power BI.

As the successful applicant you'll work closely with Executive Leadership and senior stakeholders to ensure data becomes a strategic asset that drives better decision-making, enhances customer outcomes, supports regulatory obligations and unlocks new business value.What You'll Be DoingAs Head of Data & Insight, you will:Define and execute Ayvens UK's data strategy, roadmap and operating model aligned to business priorities and Group standards.Provide expert guidance to the Board, Executive Leadership Team and senior stakeholders on data opportunities, risks and investment decisions.Lead the modernisation of our data landscape, transitioning from legacy technologies including Oracle, SQL Server, SAS, SSIS and SAP BW to Azure, Databricks and Power BI.Oversee the move to a single-tenancy operating model, ensuring effective planning, governance, migration and business adoption.Sponsor and champion enterprise data governance, establishing trusted approaches to data quality, stewardship, lineage, metadata, privacy and regulatory compliance.Lead the strategic data retention agenda and drive delivery of key regulatory and operational change programmes.Develop trusted data products, analytics capabilities and self-service business intelligence solutions that empower colleagues across the organisation.Drive adoption of Power BI and reusable data assets, reducing manual reporting and increasing data-driven decision making.Shape Ayvens UK's approach to AI-enabled data use, ensuring innovation is balanced with appropriate governance and controls.Build, inspire and develop a high-performing Data Office, leading a blend of UK, offshore, Group and supplier resources.Own budgets, supplier relationships, licensing and commercial accountability while ensuring continuity throughout a period of significant change.What We're Looking ForWe're seeking an established data leader with:Significant senior leadership experience across data, analytics, business intelligence, governance and data engineering.A proven track record of developing and delivering enterprise-wide data strategies within complex, regulated organisations.Experience leading large-scale cloud transformation programmes and legacy-to-cloud migrations.Strong knowledge of Azure, Databricks, Power BI and modern data architecture principles including lakehouse and warehouse platforms.Experience working with legacy technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, SAS, SSIS and SAP BW.A strong understanding of data governance, security, compliance, metadata management and regulatory reporting.Experience influencing Board-level and Executive stakeholders and translating technical decisions into tangible business outcomes.Leadership experience across multi-disciplinary teams, including offshore, supplier and third-party partner management.Commercial and budget management expertise.Experience of data product management, self-service BI and AI governance.Financial services, automotive leasing or broader regulated industry experience would be advantageous.Why Join Ayvens?This is an opportunity to lead one of the most significant data transformation programmes within the business.
