Job summary

VolkerWessels UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Head of Data & Analytics to shape our data vision and lead a modern, scalable data platform at pace. You will own the Data & Analytics strategy, build a high-performing team, establish governance and MDM frameworks, and deliver actionable dashboards for senior leaders using Microsoft Fabric, Databricks and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading Data & Analytics functions and building high‑performing teams.
• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• Expert knowledge of Power BI, DAX, Power Query and data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of VolkerWessels UK's Data & Analytics strategy and roadmap.
• Build, develop and inspire a high‑performing Data & Analytics team.
• Design and implement robust data governance and Master Data Management frameworks.
• Architect and deliver modern cloud‑based data platforms using Microsoft Fabric, Databricks and Power BI.
• Own the Power BI and cloud data platform environments, ensuring security, scalability and fit‑for‑purpose.
• Develop impactful dashboards and analytics for senior leaders to drive decisions.
• Provide hands‑on expertise across data modelling, SQL and ETL pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to translate challenges into data solutions.
• Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies and opportunities.
