Job summary

Jacobs in the UK is seeking engineers to join a team delivering transport and infrastructure projects across highways, rail, aviation and energy. You will work on bridge and structures projects from feasibility through detailed design and delivery.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, sustainable solutions that meet client needs. This is an excellent opportunity to broaden technical experience and advance toward Chartered Engineer

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering bridge or structural engineering projects within a consultancy, contractor, local authority or infrastructure environment.
• Strong structural analysis, engineering design and practical problem-solving capability.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Motivation to continue developing professionally and progress towards Chartered Engineer status.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex structural challenges from feasibility to detailed design and delivery.
• Provide technical insight across project stages and disciplines.
• Support clients in making better decisions and delivering value.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, sustainable engineering solutions.
• Contribute to projects for High Speed 2, National Highways, Network Rail and local authorities.
