Job summary

Janison in the United Kingdom seeks a combined Implementation Consultant and Technical Account Manager to act as the technical liaison for UK and EU client contracts, owning platform configuration and environment design.

You will lead event readiness, incident management, training enablement and continuous service improvement while coordinating with AU-based teams for platform enhancements and integrations.

Qualifications

• ITIL Foundation v4 certification at minimum.
• 3–5+ years in a technical, customer-facing implementation or TAM role in SaaS/enterprise software.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences; resilience and structured root-cause problem solving under incident pressure.
• Eligible to work in the UK with BPSS pre-employment screening; valid passport enabling travel outside the UK.
• Further ITIL practice modules recommended (e.g., Incident/Problem Management).
• Experience in digital assessment/EdTech implementation.
• Technical experience with Janison Insights or comparable platforms.
• Experience delivering training or enablement to government or institutional clients.

Responsibilities

• Technical implementation, configuration, and environment design.
• Design and configure the Janison environment: SSO, roles, permissions, data flows, and integrations.
• Lead configuration for implementations, changes, releases, and platform enhancements.
• Ensure readiness before go-live: reviews, testing, runbooks and client-specific workbooks.
• Own Event Readiness Plan for assigned contracts and coordinate live events.
• Act as technical owner during high-stakes assessment events with real-time monitoring.
• Lead post-event reviews and root-cause analyses with improvement recommendations.
• Take ownership of incidents, coordinating support and development to meet severities.
• Monitor KPIs and contribute to monthly service reporting.
• Maintain records of configurations and client interactions.
• Deliver training and knowledge assets so clients' teams can operate independently.
• Provide SME guidance on platform capabilities and drive feature adoption.
• Provide feedback to Product/Development on customer needs.
• Use AI tools to support documentation and incident diagnosis.
• Escalate risks to the Programme Director and engage in mentoring.
