Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional, a RELX group company, seeks a Head of UK Analytical Content Development to shape strategy across the UK portfolio and lead teams in the UK and South Africa. The role drives content quality, commissioning excellence, and AI-enabled innovation while ensuring accuracy and scalability of authoritative legal content.

The role partners with Editorial Operations, Product, Technology, and Commercial stakeholders to meet evolving customer needs and delivers sustained

Qualifications

• Legal qualification (LLB, LLM, or equivalent) is required.
• Experience leading a content development function or team.
• Extensive people management experience, leading teams through change.
• Experience owning author, licensor, or expert relationships.
• Experience cross-collaborating across global regions and functions.
• Experience partnering with commercial, product, or go-to-market stakeholders.
• Experience with agentic AI and content-technology adoption.
• Experience managing budgets and negotiating contracts.

Responsibilities

• Shape the content development strategy for the UK Analytical portfolio and manage delivery of the departmental plan.
• Grow the portfolio while maintaining content quality, currency, and cost management.
• Lead and develop the content development team through coaching and performance management.
• Oversee author, licensor, and expert relationships and partnerships with Commercial stakeholders.
• Translate market and customer needs into portfolio priorities and commissioning plans.
• Develop metrics, KPIs, and analytics for content quality and author pipeline health.
• Lead adoption of GenAI-enabled content capabilities with human-in-the-loop validation.
• Support content integration relating to acquisitions and cross-functional initiatives.
