Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional seeks a Head of UK Analytical Content Development to lead strategy, drive growth, and ensure high-quality, accurate content across the UK portfolio. You will oversee teams in the UK and South Africa, champion AI-enabled capabilities, and collaborate with Editorial Operations, Product, Technology, and Commercial stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Legal qualification (LLB, LLM, or equivalent) required.
• Experience leading a content development function or team, preferably in editorial, publishing, or content management.
• Extensive people management experience, leading teams through change.
• Experience owning author, licensor, or expert relationships.
• Experience cross-collaborating across global regions and functions.
• Experience partnering with commercial, product, or go-to-market stakeholders.
• Experience with agentic AI and content-technology adoption.
• Experience managing budgets and negotiating contracts.

Responsibilities

• Shape the UK Analytical content development strategy and manage delivery of the departmental plan.
• Grow the portfolio while maintaining content quality, currency, and cost management.
• Develop and coach the content development team with performance management and succession planning.
• Oversee author, licensor, and expert relationships in partnership with Commercial stakeholders.
• Translate market and customer needs into portfolio priorities and commissioning plans.
• Develop KPIs and analytics for content quality, currency, and author pipeline health.
• Lead adoption of agentic and GenAI-enabled content capabilities with human-in-the-loop standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives affecting content development including acquisitions.
