Job summary

Atomhawk in the United Kingdom is seeking a UI/UX Artist to design intuitive interfaces for AAA games, create wireframes, prototypes and polished assets, and collaborate with designers, artists and engineers to bring UI into the game engine.

The role involves implementing menus, HUDs, and other UI components in game engines, ensuring visual consistency and usability while staying current with UI trends and tools.

Qualifications

• Portfolio showing experience as a UI/UX Artist in game development.
• Experience implementing menus, HUDs and UI components in Unreal/Unity or in-house engines.

Responsibilities

• Design clear, intuitive user interfaces for PC and console, balancing usability, functionality and visual polish.
• Create wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity mockups to explore ideas and communicate design intent.
• Produce polished UI assets such as icons, menus and HUDs to support player experience.
• Collaborate with game designers, artists and engineers to integrate UI into the game engine.
• Refine designs based on team feedback, playtests and UX best practices.
• Maintain a consistent visual language and user experience across screens and platforms.
• Stay up to date with UI/UX trends, tools and workflows.
