Lighthouse Games, based in Leamington Spa, is seeking a skilled UI Technical Artist to translate UI concepts into polished in-game interfaces using Unreal Engine. You will work closely with UI Artists, Designers and Engineers to ensure performance, visual quality and responsive UX across platforms.

Your role focuses on hands-on technical UI implementation, building reusable widgets, and maintaining consistent UI systems while optimizing for various input methods and resolutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience implementing in-game interfaces in Unreal/other engines (UI Tech Artist, UI Designer, UI Implementation).
• Strong eye for visual detail with practical technical UI skills.
• Portfolio/showreel demonstrating implemented UI and your technical contribution.

Responsabilités

• Implement UI screens, menus and HUD elements in Unreal Engine using UMG and widget Blueprints.
• Build reusable widgets and scalable UI structures for visual consistency and efficient iteration.
• Implement UI animations, transitions and interactive feedback across controllers, keyboard and mouse.
• Collaborate with Artists, Designers and Engineers to connect interfaces to gameplay systems while preserving visual quality.
• Test, troubleshoot and optimise interfaces for performance across resolutions, aspect ratios, localization and accessibility.
• Improve and document UI implementation workflows, tools and technical guidelines.
