Job summary

The Downs School in West Berkshire is seeking a motivated UCAS Manager to guide our sixth form students through the complexities of UCAS, providing expert advice, personalised support, and ensuring every applicant is fully prepared for their next steps.

You will oversee and coordinate the UCAS process for all university applicants, deliver workshops and one-to-one guidance, and work collaboratively with staff, students and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people in an educational environment.
• Experience with UCAS or higher education pathways is desirable.
• Ability to build strong relationships across the school community.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the UCAS process for all university applicants.
• Deliver workshops, one-to-one guidance, and support on personal statements and university choices.
• Collaborate with staff, students and parents to achieve the best possible outcomes.
• Be organised, proactive and knowledgeable about the UCAS process.
