Job summary

Maiden Erlegh Trust is seeking an organised UCAS Coordinator to manage the delivery and administration of the UCAS process at Maiden Erlegh School in Reading. You will train staff, guide students and parents, and deliver UCAS assemblies and workshops to support informed decisions about courses and universities.

The role emphasises high-quality guidance, attendance at assemblies, and collaboration with the Leadership Team to ensure smooth UCAS operations and data reporting.

Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating UCAS applications and deadlines.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work with students and staff.
  • Ability to deliver assemblies, workshops and guidance on UCAS choices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the administration of UCAS applications and deadlines.
  • Oversee UCAS references to required standard.
  • Train colleagues in UCAS reference writing.
  • Provide guidance to students on courses and universities.
  • Deliver assemblies and workshops on the UCAS process.
  • Support with personal statements, offers, and student finance.
  • Monitor and track applications and offers; report data to Leadership Team.
  • Maintain confidentiality and effective communication within the team.
