Job summary

The Downs School is seeking a motivated UCAS Manager to guide Sixth Form students through the UCAS process, provide expert advice, personalised support, and ensure applicants are fully prepared for their next steps.

You will coordinate the UCAS process for all university applicants, deliver workshops and one-to-one support, and work with staff, students, and parents to secure the best outcomes. A proactive and organised approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating the UCAS process for university applications.
• Experience supporting young people in an educational setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with staff, students and parents.

• Oversee and coordinate the UCAS process for all university applicants.
• Deliver workshops, one-to-one support, and guidance on personal statements and university choices.
• Work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes.
• Be organised, proactive, and knowledgeable about the UCAS process.
• Have experience supporting young people in an educational environment.
• Hold excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be flexible, confident and friendly, able to build strong relationships across the Trust.
