Job summary

Northwood School invites applications for a Sixth Form Learning Mentor to work with Year 12 and 13 students, supporting their learning and post-16 planning. You will mentor students, aid in UCAS applications, and help manage the Sixth Form Study Centre with a focus on creating a productive, aspirational environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Sixth Form students and helping them develop academic and wider skills.
• Ability to guide students through UCAS processes and study planning.
• Strong organisational skills to manage study spaces and admin tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support Sixth Form students with their learning and post-16 pathways.
• Mentor individuals or groups to raise aspirations and attainment.
• Coordinate and monitor the Sixth Form Study Centre environment and resources.
• Deliver UCAS guidance and support for personal statements and applications.
• Log attendance and communicate with tutors, parents and staff about wellbeing and progress.
