Job summary

Matchtech is seeking experienced Drone Pilots to support a short-term project in the Defence & Security and Aerospace sectors. You will operate UAVs safely, conduct aerial surveillance, and contribute to data collection and reporting.

The role requires strong technical skills, adherence to aviation regulations, and the ability to work under pressure. Prior defence or aerospace UAV experience and relevant certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Significant experience operating UAVs/Drones within defence, security, or aerospace projects.
• Proficiency in UAV navigation, control systems, and safety procedures.
• Understanding of aviation safety regulations and drone compliance standards.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and within a team in high-pressure environments.
• Experience with data collection, processing, and analysis using UAVs.
• Relevant certification or license for UAV operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate UAVs/drones safely and efficiently in various environments
• Conduct aerial surveillance, mapping, or reconnaissance as required by the project
• Perform pre-flight checks and maintain UAVs to ensure optimal performance
• Adhere to safety protocols and aviation regulations at all times
• Collaborate with project teams to gather data and deliver precise results
• Assist with data analysis and report generation based on drone-collected information
• Maintain detailed logs of all flight activities and technical issues
