Job summary

QinetiQ is seeking a UAS Technical Lead at the Amesbury site to drive the technical delivery of UAS projects, coordinating planning, execution and testing across teams.

You will be responsible for ensuring projects meet time, cost and quality targets, while adhering to engineering policy and safety standards, including travel to other sites as required. Eligibility for SC clearance is noted.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of the UAS domain and relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver technical activities with clear project aims, liaising with customers/stakeholders.
• Identify constraints including external standards and safety issues.
• Define roles and responsibilities (e.g., Trials Lead, SDA, Safety Lead, Quality Manager, Configuration Manager).
• Lead the delivery team and coordinate with the project manager and customer.
• Keep the project manager and customer informed of technical progress and issues.
