A Halfords Mobile Expert Team Leader is a critical support role for both colleagues and customers. With experience as a Technician, this position offers an opportunity to advance your career by supporting a team in delivering excellent service to our customers.
Our Mobile Expert teams prepare their vans at the Hub for the day, then travel to deliver services at customers’ homes and workplaces. Your role involves managing the team to ensure high standards, providing technical guidance, managing tyre deliveries, and overseeing safety and completion of tasks, especially during late shifts.
The shift pattern is either 6am-6pm or 8am-8pm on a two-week rota.
Success in this role requires excellent organization and communication skills, as you'll help our mobile team deliver quality service efficiently. You will also run the Hub in the absence of the Hub Manager and Assistant Manager.
This varied role includes customer interaction, technical tasks, team management, and training. Ensuring safety and compliance with health and safety protocols is paramount, including performing repairs and training new colleagues.

All tools, equipment, and uniform are provided. A van and tools are supplied for shifts and stored at the Hub when not in use.
