Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking a Tyre Technician for a growing automotive service centre in Ashbourne. The role is full-time and permanent with a strong salary package, bonus potential and excellent training.

You will perform tyre fitting, balancing, and related tasks, ensuring safety, quality, and customer service. A valid MOT licence and full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of tyre fitting experience or a formal automotive apprenticeship.
• An automotive field qualification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out safe and accurate tyre replacements, balancing, and puncture repairs on consumer cars and vans.
• Removing and refitting relevant wheels, valves, and tracking components using proper workshop tools.
• Identifying additional vehicle safety defects or tyre wear issues and notifying both management and customers.
• Ensuring all client vehicles remain completely clean of workshop dirt, oil, or marks after tyre service tasks are completed.
• Maintaining strict operational documentation on job cards in line with regional company policies.

Pay / salary: Upto £31,000 basic per annum plus bonus, OTE £34,600

Job type: Permanent / full-time role

Shift and schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm and Saturday 8:30am-4:00pm
