Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Tyre Technician for a growing automotive service centre in Ashbourne. This full-time, permanent role offers a strong salary with bonus potential and excellent training opportunities.

Must have a valid MOT Licence and a full UK driving licence. Responsibilities include tyre replacements, balancing, puncture repairs, wheel removal/refitting, and ensuring vehicles are clean after service. A range of staff benefits and discounts are provided.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of tyre fitting experience or a formal automotive apprenticeship.
An automotive field qualification is highly desirable.
Must have a valid MOT Licence and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Carrying out safe and accurate tyre replacements, balancing, and puncture repairs on consumer cars and vans.
Removing and refitting wheels, valves, and tracking components using workshop tools.
Identifying additional vehicle safety defects or tyre wear issues and notifying management and customers.
Ensuring vehicles are clean of workshop dirt, oil, or marks after tyre service tasks.
Maintaining strict operational documentation on job cards per company policy.
