Job summary

Midway Care Group is seeking a Locality Manager in Wolverhampton to oversee two supported living services. You will lead strategic and day-to-day operations, drive high standards of care, ensure CQC compliance, and develop a skilled team to support adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs.

You will maintain person-centred plans, build strong stakeholder relationships, and act as Registered Manager. A driver’s license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Proven experience managing supported living services or similar settings.
• A valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management for our supported living service.
• Ensure services meet and exceed CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain person-centred care plans that promote independence and choice.
• Recruit, train, and develop a passionate team to deliver exceptional care.
• Build positive relationships with service users, their families, and key stakeholders.
• Take on the responsibility of Registered Manager for the service.
• Ensure safeguarding protocols and relevant legislation are adhered to.
• Drive continuous improvement and address service shortfalls proactively.
• Respond to new referrals, complete thorough assessments, and ensure service occupancy targets are met.
• Monitor staff performance, provide supervision, and support professional development.
• Foster a culture of excellence and innovation within the service.
