Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for two North East sites (Gateshead/Durham). The role is days-based with optional overtime. You will service automated production equipment, perform fault diagnosis, and support machinery reliability across two manufacturing sites.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of electrical engineering experience, NVQ3 or equivalent, and PLC fault-finding skills with Siemens/Schneider systems. Overtime is available at an enhanced rate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' engineering experience.
• Strong electrical maintenance background in manufacturing.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Electrical fault finding and troubleshooting.
• PLC fault finding (Siemens/Schneider).
• Panel wiring and panel building.
• Maintain automated production machinery across two sites.
