Job summary

Capita TV Licensing in Birmingham is seeking a Field Officer to support local communities by visiting customers at their homes to discuss TV licence requirements and help them take the next steps, with full training and independent fieldwork.

You will manage your own daily schedule, travel locally using a company vehicle or your own, and support customers with flexible hours and a 36.5-hour week. A driving licence is essential and you’ll be part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience in customer-facing roles is desirable.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Visit residential addresses in the Birmingham area.
• Explain TV Licensing requirements and options to customers.
• Set up payment plans where appropriate.
• Record visit outcomes using mobile tech.
• Work independently in the field, occasionally attending court as needed.
