Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking a Tutor to work 1:1 with students who cannot attend school, delivering Maths and English support in Shipley. This role offers flexible hours, with opportunities for part-time and full-time temporary placements.

You will plan, adapt and tailor sessions to meet each learner's needs, aligning with the national curriculum. Sessions can take place at students’ homes, libraries or schools, with DBS support welcomed.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification/experience (classroom or 1:1).
• Ability to plan and deliver Maths and English lessons following national curriculum.
• Experience of working with students with EHCPs.
• Enhanced DBS (willing to apply).
• Passionate about working with young people.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Maths and English sessions 1:1 to students.
• Plan, adapt and tailor sessions to meet individual needs.
• Sessions take place at students' homes, libraries or schools.
• Match tutors to students to play to strengths and provide consistency.
