Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment places tutors in Burnley schools to deliver targeted tutoring sessions. Tutoring

Position: Intervention / Tuition Tutor

Location: Burnley, Lancashire

Start Date: Monday, 14th September

Hours: 4 hours per day (Part-time / Flexible schedule options usually ranging across morning or afternoon intervention blocks)

Pay £25 - £45 per hour

Tradewind Recruitment regularly places tutors into schools across Burnley to deliver targeted catch-up sessions, small group interventions, or 1-to-1 support. In this role, you would help students build confidence and academic skills in core subjects (typically English, Maths, or general primary/secondary support).

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Relevant experience working with children or young people in a mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or teaching assistant capacity.
  • Strong communication skills and a patient, supportive approach.
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one through Tradewind).
