Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment places tutors in Burnley schools to deliver targeted tutoring sessions. Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in tutoring or mentoring roles.
• Strong communication and patient, supportive approach.
• DBS Check (Enhanced Child Workforce) registered or willing to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging 4-hour daily tutoring sessions tailored to individual or small group student needs.
• Track student progress, manage session behaviour constructively, and provide feedback to school leads.
• Adapt learning materials to support students who may have fallen behind or require alternative provision support.
