Job summary

AA Euro Group in Manchester is seeking an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager to lead a 3-bed children’s residential home through transformation after a prior inadequate rating.

You will drive service improvements, ensure regulatory compliance with the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, and develop a high-performing staff team with safeguarding at the heart of care. Competitive salary £65,000–£67,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Experience as Ofsted Registered Manager in a children's home.
• Track record of improving children's services following regulatory concerns.
• Experience leading services with complex behaviours.
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete).

Responsibilities

• Lead overall management of a 3-bed children's residential home.
• Develop and implement a robust service improvement plan.
• Drive improvements following the home's previous inadequate Ofsted outcome.
• Ensure full compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
• Promote safeguarding practices and positive outcomes for young people.
• Recruit, develop and inspire a high-performing staff team.
• Build strong relationships with Ofsted, Local Authorities and external professionals.
