Job summary

Maples Care Home in Bexleyheath is seeking an experienced Home Manager to lead the 75-bed service, driving improvements in quality, governance and resident experience. The role requires a nurse-qualified leader with a proven regulatory track record and strong people leadership.

The package includes £80,000–£90,000 per annum, up to 40% annual bonus, private medical insurance and pension, with 5.6 weeks of annual leave.

Qualifications

• Proven Home Manager experience in a similar-sized home.
• Nurse-qualified nursing leadership preferred.
• Strong regulatory track record with turnaround experience.

Responsibilities

• Take full leadership responsibility and create a clear plan for improvement, remaining highly visible to residents, relatives and colleagues.
• Develop governance, build a stable workforce, reduce agency reliance and maintain occupancy.
• Engage with CQC, families, healthcare professionals and the wider community.
