Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking an experienced Home Manager to lead a prestigious nursing home in Bedfordshire. The role focuses on high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and commercial performance.

The successful candidate will drive occupancy and maintain excellent family and resident relations. The position is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a 9am-5pm schedule and a competitive £60,000 salary plus generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and staff management experience.
• Proven track record with CQC standards and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in marketing and occupancy growth for care homes.
• Excellent communication with residents, families and professionals.
• NMC registration preferred; post-registration experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the home's staff team, promoting kindness, compassion and empathy.
• Ensure the home meets regulatory requirements, including CQC standards, and maintains high care quality.
• Manage the home's budget and ensure financial targets are met.
• Develop and implement a marketing plan to maintain occupancy and promote services.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families and stakeholders.
