Job summary

GI Group is seeking a production operative to trim turkey breasts and portion products on a fast-paced cone line. You will handle turkey products to specification, operate knives safely, and maintain high hygiene standards.

Working Tue-Sat from 6:00 AM, with shifts up to 10 hours. Training provided; pay starts at £13.02 per hour with potential increases after competency testing and overtime rates up to £21.03 per hour.

Qualifications

• Good level of English to understand instructions and safety rules.
• Reliable and punctual with regular and consistent attendance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow training and sign-off procedures.

Responsibilities

• Trim turkey breasts to product specification.
• Work on the cone line preparing turkey products as required.
• Portion turkeys accurately to specification.
• Use knives and equipment safely and correctly.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.
• Follow site health and safety procedures and instructions.
• Support production team to meet operational requirements.
