Job summary

Blackdown Education Partnership is seeking an experienced leader to join our central education team as School Improvement Partner: Curriculum and Pedagogy. You will shape a trust-wide approach to curriculum and pedagogy, aligning with our Achieving More Together strategy across Devon and Somerset.

You will work with Directors of Education, Headteachers and senior leaders to drive high-quality teaching, performance improvement and sustainable change that benefits all pupils, with a focus on

Qualifications

Has proven track record in leading curriculum and teaching improvements.
Experience shaping trust-wide curriculum and pedagogy.
Ability to champion evidence-informed practice.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership for curriculum, teaching and learning.
Support schools to develop high-quality, inclusive curricula.
Champion evidence-informed teaching and pedagogical practice.
Lead professional development, coaching and collaboration across the Trust.
Use performance information, evaluation and quality assurance to support improvement.
Work with Headteachers and senior leaders to identify priorities and secure sustainable improvement.
Promote high expectations and equitable outcomes for all pupils, especially those vulnerable or disadvantaged.
