Job summary

Blackdown Education Partnership is seeking an experienced School Improvement Partner: Curriculum and Pedagogy to shape Trust-wide curriculum and pedagogy across Devon and Somerset. You will collaborate with Directors of Education, Headteachers and senior leaders to develop a coherent Trust-wide approach while respecting school contexts.

You will drive ambitious curricula, expert teaching and strong foundational skills, champion evidence-informed practice and ensure improvements translate to

Qualifications

• Senior leader with a strong track record of improving curriculum, teaching and pupil outcomes.
• Interpersonal credibility to influence and support senior leaders across multiple schools.
• Ability to lead professional development and collaboration across a Trust.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for curriculum, teaching and learning across the Trust.
• Support schools to develop high-quality, inclusive curricula.
• Champion evidence-informed teaching and pedagogical practice.
• Lead professional development, coaching and collaboration across the Trust.
• Use performance information, evaluation and QA to support improvement.
• Work with Headteachers and senior leaders to identify priorities and secure sustainable improvement.
