Job summary

A wealth protection company is looking for a Trust Administrator / Officer to manage client portfolios and maintain financial records. Successful candidates will have part-qualifications (such as STEP) or equivalent experience, excellent communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a busy team. Applications are restricted to residents with a Guernsey Working Permit, and candidates will be expected to demonstrate strong organizational abilities.

Qualifications

  • Experience in an administrative role.
  • Ability to work within a busy team.
  • Familiarity with IT tools, including electronic filing.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients and their financial records.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and record transactions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients via multiple channels.

Overview

Our client, a bespoke wealth protection organisation, are seeking to appoint a Trust Administrator / Officer.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and maintain all clients' financial records using a computerised bookkeeping system.
  • Keep all bank accounts reconciled and record all transactions accurately.
  • Ensure client funds are always managed effectively and efficiently, with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Establish rapport with clients or the client’s employees or agents where possible and communicate effectively by telephone, fax and letter.
  • Accept instructions from clients and undertake to fulfil those instructions subject to advice and assistance from superiors where appropriate.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Part-qualified professional (such as STEP) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in an administrative role.
  • Enthusiastic with excellent time and organisational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a busy team and with a comprehensive IT package including electronic filing of correspondence and permanent records.
