Job summary

The Bridge Academy Trust is seeking a Permanent Director of Catering to lead catering across 11 schools, setting strategic direction and ensuring high-quality, nutritious meals that meet standards and offer value for money.

You will develop and empower the Schools Catering Managers, drive continuous improvement, and promote healthy choices while delivering consistency and excellence across all locations. This role requires inspirational leadership and collaboration with school leaders.

Job description

This permanent, full-time post leads catering across the 11 schools of Bridge Academy Trust, a collaborative trust covering pupils aged 3 to 19. The job centres on setting the strategic direction and overseeing day-to-day catering, with a remit to meet National School Food Standards and keep meals nutritious and good value. The post-holder manages and develops the Schools Catering Managers at each site and works to improve the dining experience. Visa sponsorship is not available.
