Trailer/Truck Planner

We are seeking an experienced planner to join our client within a transport office in Felixstowe. The role involves assisting in routing, planning, and supporting the HGV fleet, drivers, and overall business operations within one of Europe's leading trailer companies.

Job Responsibilities

1. Day-to-day trailer planning, including resource allocation and trailer reloading
2. Maintaining relationships with hauliers
3. Collaborating as part of a team with support and guidance
4. Bridging communication between customer service and operations
5. Dispatching and tracking trucks and drivers

Skills and Competencies

• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in the trucking/haulage industry
• Fluency in English
• Basic knowledge of UK geography, driver hours and regulations, trailer transport, and ferry/port operations
