Job summary

Aaalmutawa is seeking a Commercial Vehicle Service Manager to lead the service operation, maximize workshop efficiency, and ensure high service quality and after-sales profitability. You will manage a skilled team and coordinate with fleet customers to deliver reliable maintenance solutions.

The role requires 6–8 years in commercial vehicle after-sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial position, and a strong focus on safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or diploma in automotive engineering or related field.
• 6-8 years minimum experience in commercial vehicle after-sales, preferably with dealership experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a managerial service role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the service team, oversee workshop operations, ensure compliance with standards and improve processes.
• Achieve agreed service revenue and gross-profit targets.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the truck service workshop.
• Monitor capacity, productivity, utilization, and turnaround time.
• Supervise Service Advisors, Workshop Supervisors, technicians and support staff.
• Develop maintenance packages to improve customer retention.
• Identify opportunities for additional service business and contracts.
• Maintain relationships with fleet customers and key accounts.
• Coordinate with principal on technical issues and warranty matters.
• Collaborate with Parts Manager to ensure availability of parts.
• Support sales in presenting after-sales solutions to customers.
• Prepare regular service operation reports for management.
• Maintain a safe workshop environment.
