Job summary

Allied Vehicles Limited in Rugby is seeking a reliable Truck & Trailer Driver to join our Transport team. You will drive a pickup truck and trailer to collect and deliver Motability vehicles across the UK, ensuring safety and professionalism while maintaining accurate delivery paperwork.

We offer Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm, with 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, a group life scheme and annual profit share, and access to HealthHero GP services.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Experience operating truck and trailer combinations.
• Good knowledge of UK geography.
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Drive pickup truck and trailer to collect and deliver Motability vehicles across the UK.
• Safely load, secure, and unload vehicles in line with company procedures and legal requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers, dealerships and partner organisations.
• Complete all delivery and collection paperwork accurately and on time.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a reliable and experience Truck & Trailer Driver to join our Transport team based in Rugby.

You’ll be responsible for transporting and collecting Motability vehicles using a pickup truck and trailer across the UK, maintaining high standards of safety, providing great customer service and showing professionalism at all times.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 7am - 5pm and the salary is £14.18 per hour.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Drive a pickup truck and trailer to collect and deliver Motability vehicles throughout the UK.
• Safely load, secure, and unload vehicles in accordance with company procedures and legal requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers, dealerships, and partner organisations.
• Complete all delivery and collection paperwork accurately and on time.

About You:

• A full UK Driving Licence.
• Previous experience operating truck and trailer combinations.
• Good geographical knowledge of the UK.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
