Job summary

The Vale Employability team within the Vale of Glamorgan Council is seeking a Triage Officer to help residents access the right employability support. You will coordinate referrals, perform initial assessments and connect participants with suitable programmes and services.

Working across multiple locations (Palmerston Education Centre and The Pod) on a 37-hour week, this fixed-term post offers a grade 6 SCP 14-19 salary of £29,540-£32,061 and requires dedication to customer-focused service and

• Experience in community, employability or administrative settings.
• Experience providing frontline customer support.
• Knowledge of customer service delivery.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and monitor performance information.
• Familiarity with data, monitoring systems and performance information.
