Welsh Ambulance Services is recruiting an Integrated Care Clinician (Paramedic) to perform telephone triage assessments and determine appropriate interventions for patients, following Trust policies and guidelines. The role emphasizes autonomous working within a remote decision‑making environment and collaboration with senior clinicians to deliver urgent care across Wales.

The successful candidate will hold NMC or HCPC registration, participate in a CPD programme, and adapt to a rotating shift

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse (adult or child) or HCPC registered paramedic with post‑registration experience.
• Regular update training and continuing professional development required by regulators.
• Flexible approach to work including rotating shifts, nights, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Undertake telephone triage assessments of patients.
• Advise the most appropriate intervention per guidelines.
• Work autonomously with clinical decision support from senior clinicians.
• Engage with a multi‑disciplinary team to deliver patient‑centred urgent care.
