Job summary

Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust is seeking an Integrated Care Clinician (Paramedic) to perform telephone triage assessments and advise on the most appropriate interventions. The role operates within a remote clinical decision-making environment, with autonomous practice under established guidelines, supporting urgent care access across Wales.

Start date proposed for February 2027, with opportunities to contribute to a multidisciplinary team and to develop through a CPD programme

Qualifications

• Experience as a paramedic delivering urgent care.
• Ability to conduct telephone triage with appropriate clinical judgment.
• Familiarity with NHS policies and guidelines for remote assessment.

Responsibilities

• Undertake telephone triage assessments of patients.
• Advise the most appropriate intervention to meet patient needs.
• Work in an autonomous capacity within agreed guidelines.
