Job summary

The Welsh Ambulance Service University NHS Trust in Cardiff is recruiting an Integrated Care Clinician (Paramedic) at Band 6 on a permanent basis. The role focuses on telephone triage, advising on appropriate interventions, and delivering care within clinical guidelines.

You will work autonomously with support from senior clinicians and a multidisciplinary team to meet urgent care needs across Wales. Flexible hours and a fixed rota are available.

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse or HCPC registered paramedic with front-line/triage experience.
• Evidence of regular update training and ongoing professional development.
• Flexible approach to working rotating shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Undertake telephone triage assessments and advise on interventions.
• Operate autonomously within agreed guidelines and contribute to patient safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support urgent care needs.
