Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated Nurses or Paramedics to join our dedicated team and develop innovative ways of working.

Position Details
  • 37.5 hours per week, across 7 days.
  • Role: Clinical Triage Clinician at the Dudley Clinical Hub (Single Point of Access).
  • Responsibilities include triage, clinical advice, signposting, and appropriate clinical streaming of patients attending the Emergency Department into community services.
  • Work collaboratively with partner organisations, service users, carers, and multidisciplinary teams within a diverse locality.
  • Provide clinical triage and assessment to support urgent care, helping to avoid unnecessary hospital admissions and facilitate community-based management.
  • Operate between 8am – 9pm, 7 days a week, 365 days per year, with flexible working arrangements.
  • Visit patients at home when necessary, supported by senior clinicians, to maintain clinical skills and competencies.
Candidate Requirements
  • Sound clinical knowledge, approachable, flexible, and confident decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, customer care, and IT skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload independently and work well both autonomously and within a team.
  • Friendly, assertive, and able to challenge appropriately when needed.
