Downend Health Group is seeking an administrative triage assistant to support the Triage Team across Christchurch and Willow Surgeries. The role focuses on triaging appointment requests by clinical priority, recording details in patient records, and booking appointments with flexibility for shift patterns.

Applicants with no clinical background are welcome; GCSE maths and English are essential, and strong IT and communication skills are required.

Qualifikationen

• GCSE maths and English required.
• Very good IT skills with thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• High literacy with strong verbal and written communication.

Aufgaben

• Triage appointment requests by clinical priority using Sentiers care navigation system.
• Save requests into EMIS patient records and submit Klinik requests when needed.
• Allocate appointments and advise patients through digital channels.
• Make community healthcare referrals and forward nursing appointment requests.
• Identify where prior nursing appointments are needed so clinicians have the information they require.
• Cover short- and long-term absence across the practice and rebook appointments.
• Coordinate translation services and handle administration inquiries.
