Job summary

Schools’ Choice in Walsall is seeking a Tree Inspector (Arboricultural Surveyor) to support the management of Walsall Council's tree stock and Urban Forestry programme. The role is on-site with a minimum of three days per week and a six-month contract.

You will carry out inspections of the council's tree inventory, assess risks, update records, and issue work orders to teams and contractors. Knowledge of tree risk assessment, strong report writing, and familiarity with Ezytreev are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Arboricultural qualification or above (essential).
• Experience in tree inspection, arboriculture, or urban forestry.
• Knowledge of tree risk assessment and management.
• Strong report writing, communication, and organisational skills.
