Carden Park Hotel Ltd in Chester seeks an inspiring Spa Treatments Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of the treatment offering. You will recruit, train and coach the team while maintaining five-star standards and exceptional guest experiences.

Working with the Spa Director, you will manage stock, supplier relationships, promotions and staff wellbeing, ensuring budget alignment and high service levels across a seven-day operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a spa or hospitality management role.
• Experience supervising teams in a spa environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the treatment area, ensuring high standards of service and guest experience.
• Lead, motivate and develop the therapy team, including recruitment and onboarding.
• Ensure staffing levels align with budget and operational requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with treatment and product brand suppliers.
• Coordinate brand training for new team members and refresher training for existing therapists.
• Oversee treatment stock management, including monthly stock takes and ordering.
• Support the Spa Director in achieving commercial targets and developing the treatment business.
• Plan and deliver engaging and commercially successful treatment promotions.
• Maintain high health and safety standards within the department and report concerns promptly.
• Take responsibility for reactive operational tasks during Duty Management shifts, supporting guests and colleagues.
• Ensure treatments and departmental standards reflect five-star expectations.

Role: Spa Treatments Manager

Hours: 40 hours a week over 7 days to include weekends and bank holidays.

The award winning Spa at Carden Park is looking for an inspiring and experienced Spa Treatments Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our treatment offering, ensuring exceptional standards, outstanding guest experiences and a high-performing therapy team.

Working closely with the Spa Director, you will take ownership of the treatment operation, including recruitment, training development and coaching the team, treatment standards, supplier relationships, stock control and promotional activity. You will play a key role in ensuring the treatment experience consistently reflects the standards expected of a five-star spa.

Your Day with Team Carden:

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the treatment area, ensuring exceptional standards of service, presentation and guest experience.
• Lead, motivate and develop the therapy team, including recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing wellbeing support and development.
• Ensure staffing levels are maintained in line with budget and operational requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with treatment and product brand suppliers.
• Coordinate brand training for new team members and refresher training for existing therapists.
• Oversee treatment stock management, including monthly stock takes, ordering and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
• Support the Spa Director in achieving agreed commercial targets and developing the treatment business.
• Plan and deliver engaging and commercially successful treatment promotions and initiatives.
• Maintain the highest standards of health and safety within the treatment department, addressing and reporting any concerns promptly.
• Take responsibility for reactive operational tasks during Duty Management shifts, maintaining a strong front-of-house presence and supporting both guests and colleagues.
• Ensure all treatments, procedures and departmental standards are consistently delivered in line with five-star expectations.
