Job summary

Bupa Dental Care The Old Church, Lightcliffe is seeking a Treatment Coordinator who is GDC registered and patient-focused. You’ll guide private patients through treatment plans, discuss fees, and help ensure a smooth journey from consultation to completion.

Qualifications

• GDC-registered dental professional with strong patient-care focus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to explain treatment plans clearly.
• Experience delivering outstanding service in a customer-facing role.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across a diverse audience.
• Knowledge of dental practice management systems desirable.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for new private patients and those interested in specialist treatments.
• Confidently discuss treatment options and associated fees.
• Deliver high-quality service to maximise patient satisfaction and practice efficiency.
• Coach team members on best practices to improve customer care.
• Coordinate dentist appointments within treatment plans.
• Build productive working relationships within the practice team.
• Support and deputise for the Practice Manager as needed.

Monday to Thursday: 8:15am to 5:15pm | Friday: 8:15am to 2:00pm

As a Treatment Coordinator you’ll be working alongside an experienced practice team and have access to exceptional development opportunities to take you as far as you want to go.

Treatment Coordinator responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for new private patients to the practice; and existing patients expressing an interest in specialist treatments
• Confidently discuss the treatment and fees involved
• Deliver a high-quality service to ensure patient satisfaction and maximum contribution to practice efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability
• Be a champion of customer satisfaction and coach team members on best practice
• Coordinate’s dentist appointments throughout the treatment plan
• Establish and maintain productive working relationships with all members of the practice team
• Play a key role in the practice leadership team, supporting and deputising for the Practice Manager

Your skills and experience

• Extensive clinical knowledge of treatments provided within a healthcare setting
• Strong and confident communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly understand and communicate complex treatment plans, procedures and requirements
• Previous experience of delivering an outstanding service in a customer facing role
• Proven strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to deal with a broad range of people
• CQC/GDC registered, and knowledge of dental practice management systems is desirable
