A leading digital bank is seeking a Treasury Manager to define and implement strategies for liquidity, funding, and risk management. This mid-senior level role requires extensive knowledge of UK payment systems and strong stakeholder engagement to drive treasury operations in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in Treasury function within a UK-regulated bank.

Treasury Manager | High-Growth Digital Bank | London (Hybrid)

We’re working with a cutting-edge, tech-driven financial institution that’s redefining what modern banking looks like. As they continue to expand, there’s a newly created opportunity for a Treasury Manager to play a hands-on role in shaping the firm’s liquidity, funding and interest rate risk strategy.

Liquidity & Intraday Management

• Monitor real-time liquidity and funding positions across UK payment schemes (FPS, CHAPS, BACS)
• Run the daily treasury dashboard covering cash, capital, IRRBB and liquidity metrics
• Manage day-to-day interest rate, FX, and liquidity risks in line with policy and regulatory frameworks
• Support intraday collateral monitoring across UK clearing systems

Strategic Treasury Development

• Act as 1LoD for ALM, helping embed sound risk and governance controls
• Develop and maintain treasury policies, procedures, and controls
• Serve as Secretary to ALCO, managing agendas, packs, and action tracking
• Support the development and coordination of the ILAAP process
• Drive balance sheet optimisation through efficient cash and funding strategies
• Contribute to relationship management with correspondent banks and deposit platforms

Prior experience in a Treasury function within a UK-regulated bank

Hands-on exposure to intraday liquidity and real-time cash management

Solid knowledge of UK payment systems (FPS, CHAPS, BACS)

Understanding of regulatory liquidity frameworks (PRA, EBA) and ILAAP process

Excel-savvy, with the ability to analyse and visualise data (Power BI/Tableau a plus)

Exposure to automation, analytics or AI/ML tools is desirable

Excellent stakeholder engagement and a high attention to detail

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Data, or related discipline
• Professional qualification such as ACT, AMCT, CFA, ACA, ACCA or CIMA preferred
