Job summary

Metalis Recruitment Group is seeking a hands-on Project Installer to join a growing team delivering lighting, display and exhibition products across the UK. The role blends on-site installations with workshop work and travel, requiring strong practical skills.

Based in Manchester, with nationwide travel, it offers £14.00 per hour plus site uplift and expenses, 40 hours weekly, and a 12-week temp-to-perm pathway.

Qualifications

• CSCS card is essential due to site-based work.
• Full UK driving licence with access to a work van.
• Flexibility to travel nationwide and stay away from home when required.
• Additional Health & Safety qualifications (IPAF/PASMA) would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Installing lighting, display and exhibition products at sites across the UK.
• Working away from home on short-term assignments, with occasional international travel.
• Reading and following technical drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Completing installation reports and relevant documentation.
• Assembling products in the workshop when not working on site.
• Maintaining tools and equipment and ensuring all work meets Health & Safety requirements.
• Providing excellent customer service while representing the business on site.
• Supporting occasional weekend work when required.
