Optima Recruitment Limited are recruiting an Installation Technician for a well-established distributor and installation business in the Epsom area. The role is hands-on, involves delivery, assembly and on-site installation of large equipment at customer sites across the UK.

You will carry out quality checks, load vehicles, ensure safe delivery, and provide an excellent installation experience. The position is Monday to Friday, 9am–5:30pm with overtime; salary c£28,000 plus paid overtime (OTE

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a delivery, installation or field-based role.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Must be eligible to drive a company vehicle.
• Good practical/DIY skills with the ability to use hand tools confidently.
• Physically fit and comfortable handling large, heavy items.
• Friendly, professional manner with excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality checks on products prior to dispatch.
• Load company vehicles ready for deliveries.
• Deliver equipment safely to customer locations throughout the UK.
• Assemble and install products on-site to a high standard.
• Ensure customers receive an excellent installation experience.
• Work closely with a colleague on most installations.
• Resolve customer queries professionally.
• Support the warehouse team with product preparation and pre-delivery assembly.
