Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is looking for an experienced Service Technician to carry out maintenance, breakdowns and commissioning on compressed air equipment. The role is primarily based in South-East England with some travel and overnight stays.

The ideal candidate will have robust diagnostic skills, strong product knowledge in the compressed air sector, and a full UK driving licence. You will work with a range of equipment and be part of a support-driven team.

Qualifications

• HNC level in electrical/electronic/instrumentation or electromechanical.
• Proven diagnostic skills on complex electrical/mechanical systems.
• Extensive product knowledge in the compressed air industry.
• PC literate and able to use standard software.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to perform breakdown repairs on compressed air equipment.
• Attend sites to perform preventative maintenance on compressed air equipment.
• Maintain verbal and written communications with customers in a professional manner.
• Liaise with technical or office-based personnel to understand job requirements.
• Liaise with customers to obtain approval before work is done.
• Operate in accordance with company EH&S guidelines.
